Have you adopted a horse from Lost and Found York and are wondering what happened?
Lost and Found Horse Rescue was originally established in Maryland. Eventually a branch opened in York, PA which became the primary site for adoptions. The PA branch of LFHR has since closed, however the rescue continues to run out of the Maryland facility.
If you have adopted a horse from Lost and Found PA, your contract still stands as the rescue continues to run, simply out of a different facility and under new management. The rescue has the same Tax ID number.
Please contact us regarding your horse as we would love updates on him/her. If you need to return your horse to Lost and Found, please contact either Maria Anselmo or Gary Young.
We also now offer a transfer of ownership for people who have had one of our horses for at least one year. If you are interested in gaining ownership of your horse please contact Maria at MAnselmo@lfhrmaryland.org.
